"The Integrated Professional: Cultivating Self-Awareness to Build a Purpose-Driven, High-Impact Career"

Collaborative professionals are dedicated to helping families find peaceful solutions, preventing outcomes that could otherwise be damaging.  We are committed to working with families in the midst of conflict and emotional upheaval to help them restructure their family in a cooperative way.  However, the passion to do and sustain this challenging work is quickly lost when our clients' strong emotions and reactions trigger our own strong emotions and reactions and disrupt our internal peace.

As professionals working with complex family dynamics or on a team of professionals experiencing its own challenging dynamics, we must find our own regulation and internal anchor.  Only then can we guide our clients to an emotionally regulated space that allows them to engage in meaningful conversations and negotiations.

It is essential that we center ourselves and be present for the clients and our professional team without interjecting new challenges coming from our emotional reactions to what is happening in the room.  Developing practices that connect us to self-awareness are the key to staying centered, and engaged with our clients in an authentic, embodied way.  Moreover, connecting to self-awareness helps us reconnect with our purpose - the 'why' behind our work - allowing us to sustain our practices and maximize professional outcomes.  Building on these practices allows us to become Integrated Professionals.

In this dynamic and engaging in-person workshop we will experience different self-awareness techniques that can be incorporated into our individual and team practices.  We will explore how to use these practices to connect to our individual purpose.  We will identify our personal triggers and learn tools to help us work through them.  And we will work on practical applications of these strategies by examining how we experience boundaries for ourselves and with each other.

By the end of the workshop we will reconnect to our purpose and inspiration and be ready and prepared to hit the ground running. The social reception following the workshop will be the perfect backdrop to sharing and utilizing your professional capabilities.
